All MUDS free?

    Are of these games free or do some actually charge something? I dont know why they would for a text game but just wondering.

    Idk for sure but I've never seen one you have to pay for I'm sure there are more.

    No, some MUDs charge like subscription fees like MMOs. Others want donations.

    i don't want to go digging for them, but i have seen several muds that charged. why i have no idea whsatsoever lol.

    Generally Muds are free to play but can have some paying options. Depending of Muds, these options can favorise you or not (it depend if they are just confort options or avantage options).

    Pretty much all the muds are free, but some muds have pay for perks such as iron gate realms, But i bet atleast 80% of them are purely free

    All of the Muds I have seen are free, buy usually have an option to "donate" to gain access to in game currency used for character upgrades. I have seen some people donate upwards of $2000 US in this manner to make it into the top 10 of a particular game =x
