“Miscrits: World of Adventure†Set To Evolve The Facebook Gaming Platform

An ambitious new Facebook game titled Miscrits: World of Adventure, is set to evolve the Facebook platform for real game lovers. The game is created by social games innovator, Broken Bulb Studios, who’s known for starting the city-building genre on Facebook with the game My Town. Miscrits: World of Adventure takes Facebook games into an in depth social experience that uses the platform to facilitate live multiplayer gaming.

In Miscrits: World of Adventure, players have a fully customizable character and are free to explore an enchanting world called “Miscria.†Players set off on an adventure to find and capture Miscrits, which are powerful magical creatures. As players gather resources, train their Miscrits, and battle against other live Facebook players, their Miscrits will evolve into larger more powerful creatures. With over one hundred unique Miscrits, Miscrits: World of Adventure achieves a depth rarely seen on the Facebook platform.

"Our goal was to create a captivating and incredibly fun game for players," says President and founder Jason Moore, "but also to step beyond the status quo on Facebook and give players a game with significant depth, unbelievable art, and the ability to engage with other real players in live, interactive gameplay. That is what social gaming should be all about, and we feel we've reached that with the release of Miscrits."

The early results of the effort appear to be well worth it from the players’ perspective. While the game has only been live for a few weeks, it has already grown to over half a million players with over 100,000 of them playing each day. Miscrits has also received 10,000 reviews from players at an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.

The technology behind Miscrits: World of Adventure was ambitiously built from the ground up to achieve both a vivid open world experience and the demanding but engaging live player-versus-player battles on Facebook. Either feature by itself could stand as a major step forward for Facebook games, but Broken Bulb Studios believes it’s the combination of both that will allow all gamers to genuinely enjoy playing on Facebook.

Miscrits: World of Adventure is also set to quickly expand. Currently the game has 100,000 virtual square feet and over a hundred unique Miscrits but Broken Bulb Studios has plans to soon double the size of the game.

Future releases include Mount Gemma, a mountainous landscape filled with 60 new Miscrits, extensive player customization, new abilities and attacks, and a host of additional features that will add to the current experience.
