I mean mobile devices do have apps like YouTube and Twitch. The upside of Twitch is that you can sort of multitask. You can't watch the video and play AQ3D at the same time, but you can listen to the stream (in the background) as you play AQ3D. I don't think YouTube allows you to listen to videos/streams in the background, unless maybe that's a YouTube Red feature.

That would be a nice feature, but it would probably best to just use two devices if you want to watch/play at the same time.

It would be more power efficient to use two different devices too.

That's always a plus. I normally play on my phone so I watch vids on my laptop while playing.

Twitch doesn't provide AQ3D with items. The people who work at AE or run the ArtixEntertainment Twitch channel do that (Korin bags, MO capes, DuckyDucky pets, etc.). The only thing Twitch provides is a platform for streamers to stream and earn money, and for viewers to view and support. And you really don't need to be in-game to even watch the streams or receive the items. Just watching on Twitch is good enough, usually for 2 hours since AE streams tend to run from 15:00 to 18:00 Eastern. Usually there's nothing to do in-game anyway except during release days, so it feels pointless having AQ3D up while watching the stream since you're just killing computer memory. Kind of inconvenient that AE chooses Thursday for releases and Thursday for streams... unless server shutdowns occur during the stream.

If you have used Twitch before then this wouldn't be that surprising but at least you now know how things work.

I actually can't watch twitch streams in China but I still would. I find them to be rather interesting. The thing about twitch that is different from watching videos on Youtube is it's easy to do something else at the same time. You can just do something else on your pc/phone which makes it less boring.
