    The Nintendo consoles for sure! They just had better libraries of games to play. Sega only had like one great series, Sonic, and I'm not too sure about the Neo Geo AES.

    SNES was my first video game and my neighbor had a SEGA Master System, so i could play a lot of Mario and Sonic. SNES had a lot of great games, Yoshi's Island, Megaman X, Donkey Kong Country 2, Bomberman 4... the list can go on.

    I had a N64 when I was a kid and I remember playing super mario, but my most fond memories on a old gen console were PS1 and the Xbox OG. SNES and N64 were a bit before my time.

    I really like the SNES, mostly for Super Mario World. If featured Yoshi, but it also featured Cape Mario, and I thought those features were really great implementations. There was also The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past which is probably one of the best 2D Zelda games. I didn't really like the SEGA Master System as much, but I did like the Sega Genesis, mostly just for one of the Sonic games. I felt like the SNES had a lot more to offer than most of the other old generation consoles.

    Isn't Ice Climber just an NES game? Anyway, I do like Ice Climber.

    I voted for Nintendo... even though I've never owned an old Nintendo console. I have played on an emulator before and my favorite games were probably Mega Man II and III, the Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. (My favorite being the Legend of Zelda.)

    We couldn't afford consoles when I was growing up, but I do remember playing earthworm jim with some chick on her sega console and man did I have a blast as a little kid, I somehow remember playing lion king on it too, but I might be completely wrong, this was forever ago.
