BF3 Patch?

    Anybody know what patch could possibly be 2.07 GB and require me to download it to play? It's taking forever and I'm hoping whatever it addresses it's perfect!

    I can't find any recent 2GB patch so I'm assuming you just got the game and it's the update from the start of the month. It contains a number of bugfixes but the majority of the download is it contains most of the data for the DLC "Back to Karkand". They've already acknowledged this isn't ideal and hope to make DLC data optional in the future.

    I love MW3 and I prefer it of the two. However, BF3 is still a fantastic tactical shooter, and since the majority of my friends prefer it, I wanted to play with them since we make a pretty beast 4-man squad.

    I didn't just get the game, I got it release day. But I haven't played it since MW3 came out. ;)

    I find it riciculous that they would make such a big download...

    i had a 1 gig download before but was for heavy rain the update was the entire move edition

    Well Black Ops DLC were pretty big. BF3 maps are WAY bigger, hence the larger size.
