    The game begins with the main character being in some sort of interrogation room, strapped to a chair and surrounded by televisions and other electronics. A voice (Disguised, but obviously a man's voice) starts talking, and begins the interrogation. Mason is asked several questions, then begins to recall one of his first missions. This mission consists of Mason, Frank Woods, and Joseph Bowman attempting to assassinate Fidel Castro during the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba as a part of Operation 40. Mason apparently succeeds in the assassination, but their extraction goes awry, with Mason staying behind to protect the extraction plane. He is captured by the real Castro and the Cuban military. Having formed an alliance with the Soviet Union, Castro hands Mason over to General Nikita Dragovich. Mason is then held captive at Vorkuta Gulag, a Russian labor camp, for two years.

    I just bought CoD: Black Ops. I have no problems installing but I do have a big problem running the game.

    Everytime I try to start the game, an error would pop out, something about CoD: BO not quitting properly and has to run in safe mode. Yes/No/Cancel. No matter which one I pressed, nothing would happen, I can't get in the game.

    I tried downloading GFWL (Games For Windows Live) and Steam and tried, but still nothing. I've checked and my computer SHOULD run CoD:BO without any problem.

    Some surfing around the net hasn't resulted in any fixes yet. Many people are facing this problem, just that there's no solution yet. Any suggestions? :( I don't want to have my money wasted buying this game and not being able to play it ==

    In all cod games i play on computer it does that run in safe mode thing if you didn't quit properly...i dont care which i click usually works after that...But steam is the stupidest thing ever...

    I play it on ps3 i dont play cod on comp since they made steam
    but i still play cods 5-2 on comp

    then take tactical mask because usually people try to flash me before they come and kill me but ghost pro is good to have :)

    Nah... WMD is pretty cool and also i dont like the maps :S nuketown and jungle are the only 2 cool ones!

    i only like array because it has flat land so it is easier to snipe them.
    nuketown is cool.
