City interactive announces worldwide licensing deal for epic games’ unreal engine 3

    City Interactive, a fast-growing international publisher and developer of interactive entertainment, today announced that it has licensed the state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games to develop a new, untitled first-person shooter (FPS) game scheduled for 2011. This agreement is the second significant licensing deal secured by City Interactive this year and substantiates the company’s expanding development capabilities and its overall growth.

    “We are committed to developing and publishing high-quality, interactive experiences, and employing the most robust game engines are paramount to achieving that goal,†said Marek Tyminski, CEO of City Interactive. “Licensing Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games gives us access to one of the most advanced and high-performing video game engines ever created, and one of the most knowledgeable support teams available.â€
