The big advantage of Crossfire is that it has a relatively small client, and there aren't many hackers yet, and the community is friendly. However, if you come from Combat Arms, you may like Operation 7 or AVA more.

Don't need to convince you. Just download the game and try it. Not a difficult concept to grasp.

Is it better than AVA, or would you guys recommend it over AVA?

I would prefer crossfire, It's pretty good considering it's file size.
But I guess AVA would be for good computers and graphics?

I think AVA will be superior to Crossfire in all but speed and file size because it's bigger in file size.

It looks like the U.S. Army made its own FPS game... It's called AA3.

America's Army was made ages ago. It's a realistic game, but I got bored of it eventually.

    Crossfire is simple but good:
    -small client file
    -permanent weapons
    -rarely no hackers
    -friendly community

This should be convincing enough ;)
