Dawntide going into open beta May 31st

Hmmm... surprised nobody's talked about this already. Yet another sandbox MMO, but I have the feeling this one might actually work. Doesn't boast a first-person view like Mortal (that's just as well, as the first-person cam encourages combat, and that limits the scope of a sandbox), and the combat isn't promising to be anything revolutionary; it just looks like it could be interesting. Looks pretty damn good, and the fact that the devs aren't pumping the PR machine or sticking huge banners on their site outlining all of its unique features makes me hopeful.

EDIT: Quick update for you all, the open beta's been delayed slightly. The devs have said that it's been postponed for a few days, to "sort out a few remaining issues". A new date hasn't been announced yet, though I guess it's safe to say that it'll take up to a week.
