Defining season 6 rules - Revenge time

    In season 5, revenge time was set to 2 hours, meaning you could attack the village that attacked yours as many times as you want no matter how big it is, ignoring the attack cap. In season 4, it was set to 0, effectively eliminating the chance for revenge and giving smaller villages the chance to attack bigger ones without the fear of retaliation.

    So, what do you think, should revenge time stay as it is, get removed, or altered?

    I voted for one because I feel like there should be an availability for retaliation against someone who attacks you, just like you would if the person who hit you was in the attack range.
    That said I only voted for the current 2 hours, even though that makes it very easy to miss your revenge time. If the revenge system functioned to give one retaliation per one attack, then I would prefer a greater window. Since it gives as many attack chances as you have in turns, plus all the turns you could gain during the window, it's better to keep the window short.

    Well without the revenge setting, what's to stop smaller villages from terrorizing bigger ones, like at start of season 5 when some interesting new accounts started doing it all over xD

    For this poll, unlike the others, there needs to be a contingency in place for the end of the vote. For instance, as it stands now the vote is split between people who want and don't want the revenge rule. However, if more people vote in favor of a revenge rule than against it, there should be one. The question would be, which setting gets chosen if more people vote for it than against it?

    Perhaps we could go for the middle ground - average of what everyone voted for.
    For example, at the moment, 5 people voted for 0h, 2 voted for 2, and 1 for 6, 12 and 24h respectively.

    (5 x 0 + 2 x 2 + 6 + 12 + 24) / 10 = 4.6h. ~5h

    Something like this, or perhaps just leave the revenge setting as it was till a better solution is found

    Yeah, I think we could use a bit of clarification on the rule, and the only time it leads to major slaughter is towards the end of a season when a weaker nation hits a stronger one. In the beginning it's more a tool to keep the ankle biters away.

    I'd go for either averaging the votes, the timelength that got the most votes, or have a new poll and let the winner of that poll be the revenge time length.

    yes and that meant it was supposed to stay at 2h, not at 0 as it seems to be set right now
