I think I've seen two glitched maps before, a chunk error map where there was a huge square hole going to the void, and the Far Lands.

I haven't seen the glitch map but in creative mode you can fly out of the world if you dig down enough and have flying on.

 

I have witnessed unloaded chunks of the world quite few times. One time i was traveling with a boat and i came across unloaded area and i could see void when i went closer.

 

Would be very unfortunate if you fell into the void trying to slow down the boat. I don't think that could happen since the boat would probably enter the other side from that chunk error and will just go upstream.

 

I do remember one time that i actually fell to an unloaded chunk while boating and after i fell for a bit i just snapped back from the void to where i fell from. It can be a somewhat unpleasant experience to drop to the void while a chunk is not loaded and few seconds after everything is actually fine.

If you took a wrong step in some areas youll drag in a glitch place.

 

Probably my favorite map error are villages that extend vertically. Sometimes you have doors to villages that aren't even reachable by villagers (example). I think bugged villages are more common in areas of depth, like near a ravine.
