    RL Survival... real life? Please spell things out, especially stuff that's not typically shortened.

    I didn't learn anything about survival from playing Minecraft. According to Minecraft the key to survival on the first night is punching a hole in the ground. Second night your punching trees and opening the crafting menu... neither of which are possible. The only thing it really teaches you is find or form a shelter, gather food and make tools if possible but I mean that's all pretty obvious anyways. ^^

    Agree with Aaddron...

    Although, I learned that I can smash a tree by continuously hitting it with my hand. Than, it will stand up in the air and wait for me to smash to the end.

    And while waiting for the leaves to fall a miniature tree might drop that will grow a new tree in like 10 minutes or so. Who knew growing trees was so fast and easy :)

    Hm,i learnt "tryhard and never surrender" ,joke,i learnt that I need to sleep when see zombies haha I don't know what someone can learn from game like minecraft...

    No no no :) I love Minecraft. If anything I'm hating on this thread because a game where you gather wood by punching trees with your fist... isn't exactly what I'd call realistic. :)

    That's exactly what i ment. Minecraft isn't based on real life but it doesn't mean Minecraft is boring :p It's just boring because almost every single survival start the same way.. First you get some food if you can, some wood and than you make yourself a hole :D That's for first day. When second day start you make a little house and that's it :D

    I hate that about survival games, they all start the same way... I suppose it'd be hard for them not too but it does get tedious after a while. I like continuing to work on a Minecraft World but starting over is just a drag.
