    Yeah, all of them have a similar effect after the first time or two imo. Some even the first time is tedious because they are so similar to other survival games. I've found the best way to combat that is playing with friends or on servers, this works particularly well in Minecraft because every server is different in terms of what it's users have built.

    I don't think Minecraft's taught me any real life survival tips (other than to keep on eating food) since Minecraft is just fantasy. Like trying to mimic anything from Minecraft in real life would be ridiculous, perhaps even dangerous. Breaking blocks with your bare hands, for instance, would just be impossible.
