Do Not Give All Your Points Away For Any Reason AKA Giveaway Abuse

Ok, this has popped up after a week and there will be clubbings as a result. Do NOT make multiple accounts and start passing points between the different accounts. You will be caught and clubbed because I can see any Giveaway that is made. We had a long time member who did this a few times and was banned as a result. Thus, forevermore this will be known as pulling a Lumle lol.

 

This also goes for creating multiple accounts just for referral points. Either way, you will be clubbed for it.

 

Ok, had this happen a few times. If you have only one post and you have 10,000 points you will definitely be checked out lol. If it is not from referrals, the only other possibility is the Lumle. The Lumle gets you the Club lol.

 

Its short and sounds like something that is a mistake lol.

 

Ok, if you are doing legitimate trades with other members, your best option is to send me a PM what is you are doing. Otherwise I may delete these when I come across them.

 

Please do not try to buy a card if you have done the type of Giveaways described in this thread. I will simply refund the card sale and then delete the bad Giveaway or Giveaways.

 

No, it caused enough problems last week without adding to it. A couple of people were caught doing this and just went crazy. Of course, they were clubbed on the spot as a result of the going crazy. Giveaway abuse does not have to lead to an automatic clubbing unless the member does not stop or goes ballistic.

Trying to find a way to prevent some of the Giveaways like posts etc., but not seeing a way yet.

Ok, actually saw somewhat of a flip flop with this, but it will still be deleted.

 

Ok, what do we need to do to get this rule more visibility? It is still coming up. Just because the system allows you to do it, does not mean it is allowed on this forum.

To clarify if that is needed, it does not matter if somebody is using their points or not. All the items in the shop are for points that were earned by an activity on this forum. Nobody has the right to give somebody a card without them earning it themselves no matter how many points they have or what they are currently doing etc.

 

Ok, we got another clubbing today because of this. I even gave the person the chance to move on from this and stay, but they chose to argue instead. The problem is there is no argument, because we will not give anybody a card for combining accounts. You could have a million points that way and it would be the same result so why even try? Simply put, either the points come from participating in the community or they are not valid. All the arguing, whining, and frowny faces in the world wont change that. Hopefuly, more people will realize this and stop trying to get points and cards that way going forward.

 

Ok, if you see a Giveaway from a multiple account clubbed. It would be wise not to try it again. Other wise , dont be surprised if you are clubbed or at least warned of a clubbing if you do it again.

 

Keep in mind that arguing about lost points due to Multiple Account Giveaways being deleted are about as worthless as tits on a boar hog lol. If anything, it is a good way to get clubbed for wasting my time.

Ok, (yes, I said it again lol), here is how we are going to deal with this.

1. The one who gives away too many points or more than points will get a visit from my trusty club.
2. The transactions are canceled.
3. The receiver will also be punished if they are multiple accounts.
