    I myself am allergic to nuts and i hate them.

    Only nut I like it when it has been grounded down into a paste form from a peanut. So basically I like normal peanut butter....cant have chunky =p.

    I love almond butter....but omg i can't have it!@# :3 It is too "nutty" so I start to react to it.

    my reaction-throat swells=hard to breathe :eek:

    I love almonds and macadamia nuts. Dont really care for the others too much. Though I do love peanut butter. Nutella isnt too bad either.

    I do think there are some misconceptions about what is a nut. Peanuts are legumes and coconuts are seeds, not actually (tree) nuts.

    With that aside, I do enjoy nuts such as almond, cashew, macadamia, and hazel nut. I prefer almond Hershey Kisses, unsalted cashews, macadamia and white chocolate chip cookies, and hazel nut chocolates (Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder, etc.).

    Would have said caramel apples with nuts would've been a good recipe, especially for the Fall season, but most caramel apples use roasted peanuts instead of actual nuts. And trying to substitute peanuts with actual nuts usually doesn't go too well.

    A lot of times, I notice actual nuts are much sweeter, compared to peanuts which tend to have a salty butter flavor. When it comes to desserts, I'm not really a fan of nuts incorporated with desserts since they tend to be too sweet. For instance, I'm just not into pecans and walnuts, even by themselves. I think hazelnut would be the better option for most desserts though, especially when you consider that hazelnut goes well mixed with vanilla, chocolate, or even coffee flavors.
