    Well, Im not talking about the 500 BC music of the stone ages, however I am talking about the past 50 or so years. Like Frank Sinatra, Kenny G, or like Elvis Presley? I'm a huge fan of past swing music and old Frank. I'd like to know what y'all have in mind about this topic.

    Not really. In fact, I find listening to the majority of the Beatles songs boring despite that people actually like the Beatles. I like songs that have some disco influence which is the majority of dance music.

    Yeah I never really understood the hype around the Beatles, my parents loved the Beatles though. I think the only song I like from them is Hey Jude

    Ah well, I just like the old and classic lyrics these musical geniuses wrote. Some of the older songs, are just really better compared the songs about drugs, sex, and decay in today modern music.

    Here's my observation between old and new songs. Old songs got deeper message while the new songs are meh! "who run the girls 10x" <----- SMH!

    Well I definitely have to agree with you on a lot of songs from today. I think pop has turned into one of the worst genres since this decade, yet I don't understand how people are so fond of the genre or even some of the music artists. A lot of the lyrics in modern music make no sense.
