    This game is to be released on PC March 2010. I've applied for the beta and i hope i get in, simply because it looks amazing. I haven't played FFXI but is the combat really just choosing the skill you want just like it was on the game on Ps2 rather than an action bar. If so that might be a big let down for me in FFXIV if they make it so... What are your thoughts on this anticipated upcoming game?

    I hope that they have it single storyline too, I am not interested in paying $50 for a game and then paying a monthly fee to keep playing it. Have to do some research on it to find out, if I can play it alone and follow a story line as in FFX and those prior. Then I will be more than happy to buy it.

    Apparently, this one is less hardcore than XI, so Square Enix can reach out to more audiences.
