    Forum Signature for Royals

    Hello boys and girls :)

    now i wonder if we could have as a royal grupe a bit bigger Forum Signature?

    the current one is maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 150 pixels or 146.5 KB

    could we make it at least to be 500 by 150 pixels or 5 MB ?

    this would allow us (Royal grupe)to putt better quality Signature.

    What do you boys and girls think about this?

    You should actually read the text before commenting about the idea. Ibro have no way to change the signature size for the Royals, since he's not an admin.

    And actually, it is possible to add a image larger than 500x150 :p My current one is 600x200 ^^
    If you upload a picture from your computer, rather through the image link it should work.

    As a demonstration: my main signature image is 550x262, and my secondary temporary gif is more than 5mb. I am highly of the opinion that we should not have such high filesize things in our signature, as it takes a not insignificant amount of time to load. I'd post a ginormous image too but let's be honest, using this image as proof of concept is still a bit overzealous a demonstration.

    So, nah.

    in pixels it would stay the same,only rise up in mb is needed.

    i can not upload or past my sign and it is 5mb
    can you tell me how to do it?

    if it is posible than we dont need this!?

    (what i want to do is this to put this pic [​IMG]in my sign but icant becose is to big file size 5mb)

    My opinion on Signatures is they are too big already, Pure's example is telling... it's huge. I don't why anyone would need one bigger than that, you could fit a whole post in it! I turned off signatures, they were just getting in my way, it's a shame as I like them but they are annoyingly large and for basically nothing.

    Animated signatures are a whole other story, small ones are OK but larger ones and of higher file sizes start to become a pain with bad internet and even lower spec computers/phones/tablets. Get a bunch of 5mb gifs going on a page and it could become problematic for some.
