    Ok, after having to endure a dungeon stay for almost two days, the forum is seeing the light again. However, there are a few kinks left over from the dungeon stay. Here are some and you can report any others you come across here.

    1. Links with http or https can not be used in chat.
    2. Some people cant respond to the Event Thread.
    3. Names can not be currently edited.
    4. Adding videos to media is currently not working.
    5. Can't post new threads with links in them.
    6. Main site plugins missing.

    I found out couple of that, the first one was with the links, i hope that will be fixed as fast as possible.

    I think adding videos to media is also broken. You can upload photos but not videos to directories

    It seems mainsite has few problems when it comes to fencing data, member page shows sometimes incorrect information like ogre point amount of member is wrong, avatar/background image doesn't show up, members last activity (for example last seen 10 minutes ago) shows incorrectly and all history of said member is not displayed. You could check my profile there to see what i mean and my name is same there. When you check other tabs when you are viewing someones member page can yield these effects.

    From what I gather from what people have said and my own testing, it's not allowing new posts, threads, edits etc anywhere on the forums with https:// or http:// links in them. Doesn't seem to be limited to specific sections or threads.

    As noted above a work around for this is removing the http(s):// part, starting the link with www. Could be a clue to where it's going wrong.

    As discovered in chat by p, you can also link if you use URL tags. Basically just type some words, highlight them, click link, paste the link and... :

    Yes, that seems to be the current work around for the forum with links.

    Like I said before, the main site and forum are both functioning but do have a few kinks. The main site actually has less and they have already told me they turned off some plugins when putting the site back. Thus, any issue on the main site is likely plugin related. For example, points were off completely until yesterday when I added back MyCredits.

    The link issue on the forum appears to happen when fetching the page title for links. That's handled by an addon that was added to actually do that, since initially it wouldn't fetch link titles, so removing or disabling and reenabling our Auto Link Titles addon (which I'm assuming is the one we're using) may help with getting links operating in a more friendly manner. Someone actually reported an issue with that addon when they changed servers earlier this year, so it wouldn't just be us it's acted weirdly on.

    Ok, that actually helps more than server support so far, but we are not using that particular add-on. Any other add-ons have that same function? If I can find it, I can do what you suggest.

    Was likely installed by a previous developer or is it a default setting somehow? Any way, wonder if adding that add-on would help our problem or not.

    We may also be having a registration problem since this happened. Saw the date of our last member and seeing error logs. Thus, working on that now as well:).
