    does anybody use game cards? i see them in walmart and target all the time for game likes gaia and club penguin...i think neopets and others have them too. is there any advantage to buying them besides being gifts?

    The advantage (In RuneScape) is for people who can't use a credit card or any other payment method to become a member. In other games, it's probably like a prepaid gift card. It gives you a set number of "Points" for you to spend after you put in some code.

    I don't see a real advantage in using them except for gifts or if you want to avoid credit cards. If they offered real cool stuff then I might consider buying one.

    the cards are to buy stuff from the cash shops in the game for example if you buy a 25$ nexon card you get 25k NX cash to buy cash shop equips... some games give you bonus stuff if you use the prepaid cards for example grand chass you get a full set of accessories for a month for each card you use
