    gtx 780 vs r9 290x?

    Hi guys.Just saved up enough money to upgrade my graphics card.At first,I wanted an evga gtx 780.Then some people told me that I can get better performance in games for less money with the r9 290x.I know that it is more power hungry,and that it overheats alot,but I was planning to get a decent cooler anyways.So what do you think,which one is a better choice?Oh,yeah my CPU is a amd fx 8350 at stock clock.

    If you didn't buy yet, I would suggest a Sapphire R9 290 or save up some more for a 970 if your CPU can handle it.
