Guild Wars 2, are you still playing?

Guild Wars 2 launched August 28th, 2012 which means the game is rapidly approaching it's 1st birthday. So my question to you is are you still playing? If so, what is keep you around? If not, why did you leave?

Did you never start? Why not?

 

I am sorta still playing... planning on jumping in more again. The constant content updates keep bringing me back in, I still have a ton other stuff to do as well. The game has started to drag a bit though... haven't quite found that niche that drives me to play it as much as say Guild Wars 1.

I'm constantly missing Guild Wars 1 NPC henchmen too, they weren't always the best... ok they never were the best but it's better than nothing... I find it very hard to find groups in GW2 for whatever reason.

 

Indeed, I'm not sure why it's so tough in Guild Wars 2 vs other games... you'd think given how many players Guild Wars 2 has it wouldn't be an issue but I can never find groups for anything other than say the first-second day of a huge new Event.

 

I will, thanks I'm hoping they add a group finder in game at some point, it's odd they don't have one when it seems many MMOs have shown MMOs really need one. Maybe the idea was to force people to talk and find groups on their own... that would be kinda ironic haha ^^

If you mean your planning on checking it out, then I suggest you check out the the free trial weekend coming this weekend, it'll be a free way to check it out. ^^

If you mean you checked it out and are moving on, then all I can really say is sorry. It's not easy to suggest games to other people as everyone is different, not everyone knows what they actually want either. I'd say if you find yourself not able to get into other MMOs maybe it's the genre, most MMOs are very similar at their core.
