Have you ever changed your username ingame using DCs?

No, I should probably clarify. When the game was new, many of the names would not have been chosen, now almost any name you pick, someone has it. Especially the short names, cause they just tend to look cool.

You might be able to claim your old name when you change to a new name. Just create another account and name the character after your other name. I think they changed it so you have to wait a week now.

yes i did twice. so my current IGN is my 3rd username , and i love it so i dont think im gonna change it again

My buddy changed his name a few days ago and he said you need to wait 5 days until someone can reclaim the name.

Almost every other day someone on my friend list has changed their name and it's always pain to find out who it is.

 

Every other day? You seem to have a lot of players in your friend list then.

 

I dont have lots of people on my friend list, but I have those few guys that constantly change their name. I just deleted recently one of them cuz I thought that the friend list got glitched and added random people, but it turns out he was actually one of my friends.

 

It's usually easier to figure out who it is, if it's someone you talk with the most. When you have over 100 friends on your friend list, it's hard to keep up with every single person. It might be handy to keep a list of names, and then when someone changes their name, you can compare your friends list with the list of names you recorded to figure out who it was.

 

Oh? Well, some people just don't know how to make a lasting decision.

 

Changing small letters to capital letters is for free, but I wonder if it is also free if you change for numbers for examle 3 to #.
