Have you ever met an online friend in real life?

    We've all made friends with strangers on the Internet whether it'd be from a video game, social media, forums, etc., but have you ever met any of those friends you've made on the Internet in real life?

    For me, I haven't met any online friends in real life. I have met "in real life" friends online, but that's not the same as meeting friends you've made on the Internet (who you didn't know about to begin with) in real life. I think it would be a neat experience, and I've heard so many stories about people (e.g. YouTubers, Twitch streamers, etc.) getting to meet some of their online friends in real life.

    I have!!! It was a couple and i met them in real life about 2 months after i met them ingame... i still talk to them even though i quit that specific game a long time ago!!!

    I have not sadly. I've been in group chats before with online friends on Skype and Tinychat (back when it more popular) but I haven't met any of them in real life. There's also someone I used to talk to that lived in the same city as me, but we never got to meet. We would always talk about events relating to where we live and make jokes out of it. It almost felt like I was talking to someone I knew from school, and at one point I even drew a facial appearance in my head based on his personality. Whenever I met someone in real life that fit this imaginary description in my head, I would think it's him. lol
