How to Make/Join a Garry's Mod Server Using Hamachi

Well yeah, it would be nice to know this, if we want to play it for OGT. Let's start right away.

First of all, you will need to download Hamachi --> Download

After making your account and installing it, you will need to or make a network, or join a existing network, depends on are you going to host or to just join.

You can join or make a new network like this:



Note: While creating a new network, you will be asked to name write the Network ID. In this case that's the GameOgre.

So only thing that's left is to wait for your friends to join the Network:



After that's done, we are going to setup our server in the game following these steps:

• Start New Game
• Choosing the Mod you want to host
• Choosing number of players
• And starting up the server

The most important thing is to choose number of players, and to make sure Local Server is Unchecked. Rest of the things you choose yourself.

Now we need our clients to join the server. First of all you will need to Enable Developers Console.



You can activate console like this: Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Developer Console. The button meant for console is this ~ .

So now, only thing left is to your host gives you his IP address so you can join the server.



And click > Copy IPv4 address.

Later the person that wants to join opens the console and writes following: connect <IPv4 address> .

P.S. : This tutorial was made using Hamachi Unmanaged mode so that means it's limited up to 5 users in one network.
