List any indie game here that you enjoy playing.
Minecraft, Terraria and Project Cars
Any indie games that are not at Indie Games : Online Games Review Directory yet? Hmmm, looks like Project Cars is not there yet.
Too early in development at the moment, in my opinion. Still in alpha, it's name isn't final yet either. Funding is close but it's possible the project could still fail, although I doubt it.
Yes, games in alpha testing can be tricky. Hope it makes it through.
An interesting game to keep an eye on would be StarForge. It's still in very early alpha and not really worth to add to the list yet, but it has potential.
StarForge - First Playable Release - YouTube
Nice Find, Infina.
Pineapple Smash Crew!
I think these would qualify too, correct me if I am wrong:
- Monday Night Combat
Of course I know the first two, but what is Towns?
Towns is an Indie game currently in Beta(?) I believe
The name sort of says, your main goal is to build and protect your town, but also to explore dungeons, collect ITE's and upgrade your gear. It is a fun and addicting game You might want to compare it to games like Dwarf Fortress etc
We need to add it to our Directory.
Any more finds?
Also, what was that iPad game you mentioned in Chat last week, King?
Snapshot - Platformer with a twist, take and use snapshots of the game environment to solve puzzles. Been following this one for a while, fall 2012 release.
Depict1 - Made by the same guys as Snapshot, this freeware title was created in just 24 hours as part of Global Game Jam back in 2010. It's a platformer with a interesting character that guides you. Has a GLaDOS from Portal type feel.
Added both to the review directory
Those have been approved, Aaddron.
Pocket Planes - From the creators of Tiny Tower comes Pocket Planes, a casual airline sim that fits right in your pocket!
- Manage and grow your fleet of planes as they fly interesting people and cargo to over 250 cities around the map.
- Unlock everything from tiny prop planes to jumbo jets and small town airports to mega cities.
Thanks, King, that was it. Is that on the Android too?
Wasn't sure about that, but yes it is
Ah, I might can get it on Kindle Fire then.
