Internet Explorer always sucked.

    It seems people have different and most of them fine reasons to hate IE. Some hate it because it isn't good for projects. Some hate it because it doesn't work right or well on alot of pages.

    Well, I hate it because it crashes all the damn time! Every time I try to use it, even on normal pages, it locks up and forces me to close it or it just randomly gives me an error and then shuts down.

    And it's not like Fire Fox. When it crashes, you have to find everything and open all those tabs ALL over again, that is if you can even remember them and assuming you didn't clear your history.

    And even trying to go through your history and find it all over again, is a pain in the ass. First, you have to open the favs/history bin, look through today's folder, look through the history folders until you find what you're looking for, and then after you open the tab for it, you have to repeat this process the open the other things in other tabs, instead of just letting you do it in one big shot.

    It's a PAIN in the ARSE.

    Plus, I read and it's obvious that it doesn't have as much security and features and plug-ins as Internet Explorer.


    So, if you want, please express your hatred for IE and tell us why. It's my IE Sucks Day of Bash.:shout:

    IE is one of the worst browsers out there, the only reason its widely used is because it comes pre-installed on Windows computers, which sell much better than Macs (BTW Mac people shutup, Safari is worse).

    And to the above post, IE might work fine, but Firefox, Opera, or Google Chrome all work much better.

    Firefox may have a few flaws or problems, but atleast it comes with helpful tools and recovers what I lost.

    and to the post a bit more above, I tried to upgrade my IE and thought I did, and it never saves what I lose.

    Anyways, it still sucks.

    hm...well, maybe it works differently on different computers, cuz on my Windows XP is does exactly what you described and on my vista laptop it works fine

    If it's speed you're looking for then FF is better than IE, else I'd pick IE because it has better support and is better at displaying stuff.

    thing is i'm not too happy about IE8, it seems to have some quircks FF has too. IE7 and IE6 was better in my view

    Yes but if you have Firefox there's no need for support! And many sites aren't even optimized for IE, yet I've never found a site that isn't optimized for Firefox. Firefox is by far the greatest browser.

    orly? funny, remember that game called dragoncave? well you need a really good internet connection speed and reflexes and i hav IE and still get the pretty rare ones ^.^

    1) Firefox is faster and has add-ons
    2) Opera is faster
    3) Google Chrome is faster

    So its not a dislike for IE, its a love for the other browsers because they are better. In turn, you see how flawed IE is.

    School servers usually suck due to all the people using them. I know mine does. Plus the school might have some weird web filters on (once again.. mine does).

    Have you ever actually used Firefox at home?
