You only get expelled if you get caught! :p

Luckily our schools is more annoying than effective. It's very easy to get around it. For example, it may have "youtube.com" blocked, but if you type in something like "youtube.com/xxxx" it puts you right through. :D

IE isn't flawed, it offers more support for more features than ff, if anything it's only flaw is it's speed, while ff has many other flaws

proxies are helpful in that respect, they always forget to block these things

i-framing via another site also sometimes circumvents it, but not always... the trouble with these blocks is that you can't make it 100% secure and tightly knit, if the settings are too high, you might risk blocking stuff you don't want blocked

But for just browsing the web you shouldn't need "support". If I want to go on YouTube and watch a monkey blowing up a house, I shouldn't need support because IE keeps crashing! If you use Firefox, Opera, or Chrome, you have no need for support because 1) they rarely crash and 2) they restore tabs if they do happen to crash. As far as features go, Firefox is the browser of customization.

Honestly, name 3 flaws with Firefox. Not so easy. Name 3 with IE-

    1) Speed
    2) Crashing
    3) Inability to open some web pages correctly
    4) Not saving my session
    5) Speed

What do you know, there's 5 right off the bat!

You will never get me to support IE because other than Safari it's the biggest piece of crap to ever come packaged in with an OS. If there weren't technology-neglected people out there that don't realize they can have a browser 2x faster, IE wouldn't even still be around. People have IE by default and are satisfied with it, but the thing is, once anyone switches to FF, Opera, or Chrome.... they never go back!

Yes, Safari is absoulutely the worst browser ever, it's way too slow and doesn't have many functions other than just browsing

That's what it is made for...to be minimal, and able to be ported to many systems
(Nintendo DSi, Wii, I think the PSP too.)

    1) doesn't support negative z-indexes
    2) unable to add some media plug-ins
    3) difficulty with deleting your history (IE is much easier)
    4) I can name more...

    Please press ctrl+shift+del.
    U is done. :-D

Oh, and I agree with the FF has flaws thing, it's just that I prefer FF's flaws over IE's flaws.

I use a Chrome/FF combo, especially now that Chrome is out on Linux.

Why do you need to delete your history? Were you looking at p0rn? Because it deletes the cookies that slow down your computer which is all I need it to.

And like quinn said, I agree it has flaws, but I can live with FF flaws. Dealing with slow browsing without my precious add-ons on IE though... I shudder at the thought.

I use a Firefox/Opera combo, mostly use Firefox though.

it takes up a lot of memory to browse sites, especially forums, because it has sooo many pages, so i delete it now and then so my computer isn't slow like heck

No I browse a lot and the history gets very cluttered, which takes up a lot of space..space I don't have on my HD

and I agree that IE has flaws too, but I prefer IE flaws over ff flaws

I use IE/FF combo... mostly I use IE and I use ff with sites that have a lot of flash. I have opera installed too, but I really don't like it. It's much more worse at displaying stuff than firefox, opera can't even handle transparent images right
