    Recent AVG just shat out on me after upgrading to AVG 2011...ahem....ya some firewall conflict >.>

    I use Security Suite... lol <---- virus (It acts like an anti-virus)

    I use AVG on my mom's laptop and Microsoft Security Essentials. I think i should download AVG though :\

    hm i think im guna just remove avg to its fullest. uhm... then do a clean start.


    anyone else have AVG 2011? mine was having conflicts with the firewall and i turned it off/on and stuff...it just didnt work! idk what the problem was

    Avira is the best of the ones listed. Highest detection rating, lowest "false alarm" count.

    Kaspersky is what I recommend you get (see your other thread).

    I've used all three, using Avast right now, didn't like AVG and Avira has pop ups unless you buy it... Avast is the least annoying and imo has the best interface.

    kaspersky didnt bind w/ my computer so well some reason (other computer but same specifications basically) friends told me to try it. 1 year later they said AVG then i started using that.

    w/e closing these threads now since nothing wrong w/ AVG now. it was just Pro/upgrade version that didnt work -.-? idk stupid AVG firewall lol.

    Using Norton on my current PC. On my laptop however, I'm using both Avast and Malwarebytes. Used to use Avira as well before, but never used AVG.
