    I've never owned a tablet but having a laptop is convenient for me. It's more efficient for research and work.

    Im not a fan mid size things like tablet. Id rather have a mobile phone for mobility or laptop if need be.

    I really like my Surface Pro 2, I'd prefer it over a laptop. An the newer models only improve on that. I think that laptops have more functionality though, they can have much better GPU's and stuff. Tablets are still too limited by having to be thin an light... no room for the cooling needed and not enough battery to run it all. How they make the next jump, I'm not sure.
