League of Legends: Champion Bundles and price Reduction

In response to player feedback, we will be continuing our effort to bring you even more value for your IP by reducing the IP purchase prices on even more of your favorite classic champions. This week, we’ll be slashing the IP prices on the champions Jax, Teemo, and Warwick.

The new IP prices for these champions are:

Jax, the Armsmaster, (normally 3150 IP) will be only 1350 IP!
Teemo, the Swift Scout, (normally 3150 IP) will be only 1350 IP!
Warwick, the Blood Hunter (normally 3150 IP) will be only 1350 IP!

So polish your favorite lamppost, load your blowgun, and sharpen your claws, because there’s never been a better time to pick up these fantastic classic champions! Head on over to the League of Legends Store to snag these old standbys at their reduced cost!


With all these new champions joining the League of Legends, we wanted to be able to provide you with more affordable options for rounding out your lineup. So, in response to your requests for additional bundles, we’ve decided to offer two limited edition new champion bundles to give you the opportunity to pick up some of the most popular Season One champions at reduced cost.

The first bundle is a variety pack aimed at giving you the opportunity to try out champions across multiple roles. The second bundle will contain five of the exciting melee DPS champions (many of which also make great junglers) that joined the League of Legends over the course of Season One. We may have more bundles aimed at other gameplay styles coming in the future, so if you’d like to see more deals like these leave us a comment to let us know!

We have heard your concerns about champion IP prices, and know that many of you are looking for more affordable options to round out your champion lineups. Fair enough! In an effort to satisfy these concerns, we're going to be rolling out a series of brand new initiatives aimed at bringing you some more bang for your proverbial buck.

For starters, as you've already seen in the past few weeks, we've begun to reduce the prices on many of our older, more classic champions. Beginning back in April we slashed the IP costs of Malphite, Morgana, and Ryze, with Cho'gath, Taric and Annie following shortly thereafter in August. You can expect to see more of the same for many more of these old favorites going forward. This is all part of an ongoing plan aimed at ensuring that we have a strong, well-rounded compliment of affordable champions available for any play style.

Additionally, if you're looking to get your hands on some of our more contemporary additions to the League, we're also going to be offering a series of new bundle deals. We'll be trying out a number of different options in the future, offering everything from champion variety packs to bundles themed around specific roles.
