Live Event Coins

Player-made events have caused a lot of backlash in the past as seen with the Korin bag giveaway being tossed in a player's livestream. Events should be transparent for every player, showing representation of AQ3D as a whole for every player rather than favoring one player or a sub-group within the game as seen in the past. Perhaps the reason why the MassivelyOP live event months ago was well-received was that that event didn't favor a sub-group within the game, but reached out to a broader audience since MassivelyOP does cover news of other games as well, not just AQ3D. Events shouldn't be to represent figures in the game's community, but should be made to represent the game as a whole, and I really hope AE starts emphasizing that since there's been a lot of criticism in the past over how people get represented.

 

Happens a lot to players. There was a huge surge of players logging in right after the event had ended during the event a couple of days before the Frostvale map was released, and I think that, including the fact players were having issues clicking on drops, prompted Artix to spawn another chest that drops Direwolf Boots. I still wish there were huge announcements beforehand.

 

Yeah, and that craft stream was well planned ahead as well. They mentioned it even before that tweet on their previous Thursday Twitch streams, and they might add another reminder this Thursday as well. Unfortunately, neither Artix nor Cysero has retweeted Korin's tweet about the craft stream (so there are a ton of players unaware of the upcoming stream), just Alina who doesn't even work in the AQ3D department. There are definitely some communication problems preventing these events from being made aware across the community, and they're probably not that difficult to solve either.

 

Yeah, that's an alternative for players who want the weapon who can't attend the event. Not sure why they don't have an alternative way of obtaining the armor as well.
