    hm. If you want to get started I suggest starting out small.

    Inuyasha is a shounen which is generally what the majority of people like I think :).

    If that doesn't appeal to your likings try Full Metal Alchemist

    Dragonball is common

    D.Gray man

    Darker than black

    Elfen Lied

    Code Geass

    Death Note (not a preferred manga for myself but some people like it)

    Or, you could start out with one of the mega-popular series like Naruto or Bleach. They're both easy to get into and will keep you occupied for a while. :)

    Oh, yes, FMA is very good. It just ended this past year, I think, but it's fairly long so it'll keep you busy for a while. Now that I think about it, it was the first manga I really got into. :)
