Minecraft 1.9

Since the Minecraft 1.9 pre release is available for a couple of days now I wanted to know what you guys are looking forward to involving the 1.9 update, or what you think wouldn't be good for the game

The 1.9 update will have5 new creatures : The villagers, Snowman, shroooms(?), fireslimes and an unnamed mob.

The villagers are friendly and just walk around , they don't do anything besides that yet.

Snowman: Snowman are created by players , you put down 2 snowblocks up on eachother followed by a pumpkin , voila a friendly snowman will appear! The snowman fight with mobs even tough they don't do any damage they do distract them.

Shroooms(?): cows with mushrooms growing on them use shares on them to get 2-4 mushrooms and a normal cow( these are only found in the mushroom biomes which is very rare)

Fire slimes : Just like normal slimes only red and can only be found in the nether, when you attack it it will set it self on fire and shoot fireballs at you.

Unnamed mob : it's like a twister with gold pieces i suppose...

Fences will also be sticking to walls ( like they connect to other fences )
Animals spawn per once per chunck and have to be breeded , you can breed them by holding wheat in your hand.
pumpkin seeds ( crafted by using a normal pumpkin )

Other new items :
glass bottles, several new music discs, blaze powder, spider eyes, fermented spider eyes and magma cream. *Items uses unknown - bottles obviously for 'potions' as mentioned on twitter and not implemented yet. Possibly with official release.

Armor can be fixed by using 2 damaged armor pieces , these combined make one strong piece.
Bug fixes: Notch has told that a lot of lighting bugs will be fixed and the enderman will be less annoying ( Stealing all the blocks when you're not around)

New music discs!

The nether make-over: The Nether is finally getting dangerous again by creating fireslimes and the unnamed mob! Also will there be dungeons in the Nether and random bridges.
These dungeons/bridges are made of Netherbrick which is a new building marterial.
In this new Nether is also a new farmable item : Netherwart

Also possibly introduced in 1.9 will be hardcore mode , if you die in this mode you will have to delete this world ( source twitter @notch )

+More fixes involving lighting etc..
