    GameOgre.com is hosting this contest for all forum members. Since we recently installed a Wiki, we are looking for forum members to help build it into a great wiki for all MMO games:).

    Prizes:

    First Place: 2 $10 Ultimate Game Cards and Forum Medal
    Second Place: $10 Ultimate Game Card
    Third Place: 2000 GameOgre Forum Points

    Rules:

    1. This contest will last until March 22, 2010.
    2. You must be a GameOgre forum member to enter.
    3. The content added must be your own.
    4. The content must be related to MMOs.
    5. The winners are determined by having the most points at the end of the contest.
    6. No more than 10 simple edits in one day.

    Points:

    Simple Edit (2 to 4 sentences) = 1 point
    Edit with a large amount of content = 2- 5 points (Judged)
    Making a new page with a paragraph = 3 points
    Making a new page with a lot of content = 4 to 10 points (Judged)
    Wiki Contributor of the Week = 20 points

    Hey, Ogreman, could you tell me how attack strength and defence is increased in Ogre Wars? Like what the number of troops does to it, and amount of equipment/training etc? I'd like to add it to the wiki.

    You may get a better answer in the Ogre Wars forum:).

    I don't know the exact troop calculation, but weapons give the face value of attack power and armor gives the face value of defense power. Training just gives percentage bonuses of attack or defensive power depending on which you buy. Does that help any?

    I think it's a bug, I've had it happen a few times where it would just randomly make some text slightly smaller or bigger for some reason... it doesn't show up in the editor either, easy to fix though just re-size the text and it's fixed.

    It might be the browser. Some programs may make the fonts all the same size in IE, but not in FireFox.

    Darn, the crew all left before I could get a pic of the boss...and we were doing it on hard, so it's not like the three of us left could beat it.

    I still got a few screenies though.

    BTW, what is the forum medal gonna be?

    The forum medal will be something like Top Wiki Contributor.

    Those are the same prizes as the MMO Helper Contest. However, as mentioned in the Wiki thread, we could improve the prizes if a lot of people actively contribute a lot of content in this contest. For example, we could make first place a $20 UGC and second place a $10 UGC:).
