Leading video games publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. today announced the latest title based on the irrepressible NARUTO franchise, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Kizuna Drive for PSP®. Loaded with new features and furious four-player ninja action, the game is scheduled for release in spring 2011 across Europe and Asia Pacific.

In a first for the series, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Kizuna Drive will invite players to launch themselves into four-player team action on PSP. Set in the Shippuden anime series universe and with a wealth of characters to choose from, including Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Shikamaru and many more, players will team up with up to three friends via Ad Hoc and work together to defeat enemies using tactical combinations of melee and Jutsu attacks. The real test will come when you face up to the big bosses, with ferocious battles in store against Shukaku and Kyubi.

The solo Story Mode will take players through an original storyline with exclusive new characters and challenge them to battle their way through a series of missions, complete with an incredible twist that no fan can afford to miss. The Japanese voice-over, animated cut scenes and opening music sung by the Japanese Naruto voice actor Junko Takeuchi are sure to excite NARUTO series fans.

The game's action and cell-shaded graphics will stick faithfully to the world of NARUTO, which is the #1 best-selling manga across Europe and one of the most well-known TV anime series currently broadcast worldwide.
