New Forum Design

Should the next forum design have a light or dark background?

    Pretty sure it was at the same time but if not it was vary shortly after... hard to remember that far back :( Only Ogreman would know for sure.

    New theme is looking good BTW. One suggestion and maybe it's just me but make the home button go to the forum homepage and the GameOgre logo above go to the main website. I was in the full chat thing and there really isn't a way to get back to the forum homepage(excluding browsers back button) other than clicking the little folder icon or knowing to click the GameOgre logo... first thing I thought to click was home and I ended up on the main website. (Edit, I keep making this mistake *facepalm*... it's late here)

    Don't know if it's need mentioned before but It's kinda hard to read the names under "Top 20 Contributors" in the Video Directory and in the Chat, removing the underlines below the names might help in both cases.

    It was very close to the same time. In fact, the arcade may have been the first plug-in installed:).

    Well, it does not look like this will be finished before I go to E3 like I hoped. Will just have to wrap it up once I return.

    They both look good to me but the new one just abruptly ends... could just be my screen rez but if it's gonna be the default they might want to look into that... looks kinda sloppy.

    You mean the Tabula Rasa one? It seems it's been here for a while... It's a darker style, and makes the entire thing look much darker, maybe duller. I prefer the orange, but it might work as another darker theme. I wonder though, are they experimenting by changing the image every once in a while?

    I think he's talking about the fact that the entry box is white.
    I'm not sure that needs to be 'fixed', but one way could be to make it grey, and have white text in the entry box instead. Except it must be a shade of grey that distinguishes it from the surroundings, otherwise people wouldn't be able to tell it's a place for you to type things into.

    The developers are still not getting that we need orange back on the top of the design.

    Also, should there be no cut off in the header background image at all?

    In my opinion, if the cut off is blended into the background at least a little then it doesn't matter if it has a cut off or not but if it's just gonna end then it might.

    Sent tthe developers a message over the weekend. Trying to get at least a sample of orange on the header again and a live session with the developers before ending the project once and for all.

    the highlighting or editing in chat and you can't see the words
    the writer of a blog commenting on his/her own blog
    the white around some emotions and online circle

    thats all :)
