Here are a few rules and notes for new members from now on. Having a lot of abuse, especially lately, of new signups so having to take a few steps to rectify that so its no longer a problem going forward.

If needed, use this as a reference when a new member is asking a question:).

    1. Watch the user name. If its a bad name or a name of a virus etc, it could be clubbed (banned) or changed on the spot.

    2. You will need at least 15 posts to add an avatar.

    3. You will need at least 15 posts for a signature.

    4. You must use a real email to confirm your registration. If the email is disposable, you will not be able to join the forum.

    5. Do not signup and immediately follow all the long term members. The same thing goes for liking every post.

    6. We will manually accept those members that have a good email and username. Bad ones will be rejected.

    7. If you want codes, you need to hit 15 posts AND to continue posting as a member of the community. Just hitting 15 will no longer receive a code automatically.

    8. Do not complain that it is hard to get codes.

    9. Do not post anywhere you want with posts like "If you follow me, I will follow you". These posts have to be deleted. Thus, that is spamming and will be treated as such.

    10. Do not PM me or the mods etc for freebies or forum game awards. Just post and be part of the community.

As you can tell, you will need to be at least a New Ogre (15 posts) to do more than just post here:).

This really needs to be followed by new members. Blasting through posts without any reading any rules and demanding everything is just making a mess more than anything else.

Well, this was a lot of fun yesterday lol.

Had to ban a new member from Chat, the Blade Ogre Guild, and then remove their multiple Profile Posts because they were too busy posting all over and requesting stuff to read any rules. Then they wanted their profile picture and would not stop asking about it. Finally had to tell them to calm down or would club them so they left.

Look, for over a month we have somebody constantly creating bad user names and avatars and then following everybody so they can be seen. That is why I am manually approving all members now and newly registered members can do less than before. Thus, those that want to be here will need to wait a few days before getting past that fully. Blasting posts and asking in chat and profile posts will not help make that happen any faster. Those that act like community members will have the full benefits of the community.

Ok, the person who was causing the problem can no longer get in, but is still trying and finding a little mouse hole here and there just to contact/irritate members. At this point, the best thing to do is just ignore this person as have done everything else possible. That said, just don't call attention to it anymore. Those that do continue to call attention to it will also be calling attention to themselves as well and it will not be good if that person has a ton of Proxy IPs because that is what this person is obviously using along with disposable emails.

This is the last thread and post on this subject.

    Moving on:).
