Buddy Rush Comes to iPad and Receives First Major Update

Team Sollmo, the game development group of app and game publisher Company100, Inc., today released a comprehensive update for the free-to-play, single-player RPG Buddy Rush. The update, which went live earlier today, includes a variety of gameplay and balancing updates, new content including characters, items and levels and iPad compatibility. With the addition of iPad compatibility, users can play Buddy Rush on iOS devices and Facebook for a cross-platform experience. Finally, Team Sollmo will be awarding players 10 free chips when they invite a Facebook Friend to the game.

“Now that Buddy Rush is available for free on the iPad, players can have the same portable dungeon-crawling fun on a bigger screen,†said Jin Cheon Kim, CEO of Company100, Inc. “The team has been working since launch to add iPad compatibility and implement various updates and tweaks. The update includes two chapters, each with a special area. Bootomb is a graveyard-themed area in which players will need to protect a town from ghosts, while Questern is an American Western-themed area featuring gunslinging Oblins. Along with the areas, powerful new characters are available and the level cap has been raised to 60. A batch of useful new items has been added, as well as a Fishing Mode that allows free fishing for items. Finally, Team Sollmo has lifted the restriction on Friend limits, allowing players access to all their Facebook Friends as possible allies.

Sauce Digital submits Nano Rally HD to Apple AppStore.

Sauce Digital have announced that Nano Rally HD has been submitted to the Apple AppStore. The game is an iPad version of the original iPhone game Nano Rally. Nano Rally proved a big success and reached the Top 10 worldwide and hit top spot in the UK games section.

The game will cost $0.99 at launch, the website Nano Rally features screenshots and previews of the tracks in the game.

Butterflies are all over the app store!

iGotIt Games lost control of their creation over the weekend. The butterflies were simply too anxious and are now flying all over the app store and need to be captured with iPads!

Swoop your finger around the butterflies to catch them in groups of like colors! Be careful nothing gets in your path, such as other colors or types of butterflies or even the dreaded bumblebee, as these will cause your capture to fail. They are shifty, but there is no doubt you are ready for the task.

"It's been a rocky road getting Colorflys out here, but I'm thrilled the day is here," says David McGraw, founder. "I started this project last year when I found out my prior studio was closing down and midway through development my wife and I ended up moving back to Wichita, KS from the San Francisco area. I'm just really excited to share this creation with everybody and I look forward to continuing development."

What's next for Colorflys? Over the coming weeks and months, development will be addressing any concerns players may have, introducing new stages that will take the player to some really cool environments, and bringing together some other really special things.

Repulse-O hits the App Store

Perhaps you played some of the famous 'block-falling' or 'color matching' puzzles before? Objects are raining down the screen, threatening you to be swept away. Your only way out being to match objects of a same type in order to eliminate them and manage to stand your ground.

Repulse-O offers all that, you simply have to match 3 bubbles of a same color to pop them away, and it includes some exhilarating twists that will keep your brain busy for countless hours!

First of all the bubbles are falling from both sides of the screen, toward a core placed in the center. Once they get glued to it, you can rotate the whole set to control where the next bubbles land. This results in a super simple controls scheme perfectly adapted for a touch screen.

The second important twist is the addition of electric charges. The neutral bubbles won't be affected
so they'll be easy to place precisely where you want them. However, the charged ones will keep you on your toes! Bubbles having opposite charge will attract each other and those of the same charge will repulse themselves. This means that if you don't keep an eye on them, things will soon get out of hands!

Enters the cascades. Simply clearing away the accumulating bubbles as fast as possible is not enough if you want to reach the top of world ranks! The more the bubbles are popping in a single sequence, the more points you'll get. In other words, cleverly place your bubbles and you'll be able to generate the longest possible cascades.

But beware of the special bubbles! Some of them are nasty and will absorb the color of your carefully placed bubbles, disrupting your strategy. Not only they won't give point but they won't pop by themselves. You'll need to clear them using collateral popping sequences.
