For some bosses it would be cool if they had health.

Example: Angry Giant has 300 health. Roll with level 5 players to defeat it. You have ___ days to defeat it or you lose ____ (reset back 1 level, lose gold, or lose a stat) or if you defeat it you gain a level, earn gold etc

    Member 1 Roll - 50
    Member 2 Roll - 75
    Member 3 Roll - 25
    Member 4 Roll - 45
    Member 5 Roll - 10
    Member 6 Roll - 5
    Member 7 Roll - 35
    Member 8 Roll - 55

    = 300. Monster defeated

Would be nice if we cn have a raid too. One monster, evryone gets to attack daily and we get rewards for most damage on it.

Nice ideas:). PvP and extended boss fights are going to happen in later levels.

The raid idea is a new one:). That is also something that we can also do in later levels. Hmmm, maybe have groups or guilds that players can join and then those groups have the raid:). Anyway, that is one idea that will definitely need to be developed and fine-tuned over time.

Ideas for City of the Iron Club:
1: You could buy drinks with gold which can restore your health.
2: Your health bar would be listed in the stats section in the RPG thread.
3: A bot could be installed to do damage to you if you fail a jump, take damage from an enemy or obstacle, or don't do damage to a boss.
4: Instead of rolling for weapons, we could buy weapons in a shop called the "Ogre's General Store." Weapons would take a certain amount of gold out of your "account." For example: 1000 gold for a spiked club? YES or NO? You would pick an option ( a link would be the option.) and you could notify Ogreman to give you the weapon that you ASKED for if you said yes. (He would check to make sure you were honest.)
5: You would get gold for defeating enemies, not jumping over pits or avoiding obstacles. (Obviously)
6: If you ran out of health, you would restart the level with whatever you had when you started the level. A mod (or Ogreman) would restart your stats from the beginning.
7: Statistical rolls could be compiled into a single thread.
8: You could receive a new game title each time you complete a level. For example: On Level 1: Newbie, 2: Amateur, 3: Novice, 4: Advanced, and so on.
    Just some ideas.

  10. Well I think there could be more variety to the game that'll keep it both less frustrating and more unique.

    1. Instead of rolling twice after 5 days of unsuccessful attempts, just allow us to be able to calculate the sum of rolls when rolling for a target value throughout a particular phase:

Sometimes rolling twice seems unreliable. I don't know if it's because of some kind of pseudo-RNG, but a lot of times, the two dice rolls appear relatively close to each other. You might see a 52 on one roll and a 53 on another roll, for instance.

So instead, why not have it so we can calculate the accumulated rolls to see if that matches the target value? For instance, say the target value is a range between 70 and 80, probably phrased as, "defeat x with a roll between 70 and 80" with x being some monster you battle. Have it so that we can add up our rolls until we hit that range. In the first day of rolling on a phase, you might roll a 12, and in the next day, you might roll a 65. You would add up those two numbers to get 77 and go to the next phase starting back at 0.

Now, let's say you rolled a 68 on the first day, then on the next day, you rolled a 22. The sum of that would be 90, so you'd have to start at 0 again, and you might roll a 72 on the third day.

    2. Have some low-ranged numbers to aim for:

So far, a lot of the target values seem to be high numbers. Why not have it so that we aim for low numbers as well, not just high numbers? By that, I mean something like "defeat x with a roll of 20 or less" or "defeat x with a roll between 25 and 40."

I think this would also add a bit of challenge to my first suggestion since you're more likely to go over the target value, and will have to start back at zero instead of summing the rolls across each day you've rolled, if you go over the target value.

    3. Have some wild card rolls that do special things:

There already are some rolls somewhat like this idea, where you might defeat a boss, or defeat a boss AND gain some kind of loot, but I think it could be expanded to more than just loot, and doesn't have to be a roll that is included within the target value of passing onto the next phase.

In other words, you might not get the target value to complete a phase, but you might land on some other roll value that could be one of the wild card rolls.

    For instance:

    "Phase 3:

You have entered a dark tunnel guarded by a Giant Cyclops. Roll a 80 or higher, including all sum of rolls from previous days used for this phase.

    Wild card rolls:
    • Roll a 5-8: You knocked out the Giant Cyclops' teeth. Roll a 75 or higher in the next days, or if the sum of numbers is currently 75 or higher, move on to the next phase.
    • Roll a 25-30: The Giant Cyclops found a shield. Roll a 90 or higher in the next days, or if the sum of numbers is currently 90 or higher, move on to the next phase."

The adventures are awesome but I'd like to buy items on lvl 1 and start with an amount of gold. Just an idea.
