    Hmmm, considering an option where members of a nation who are not active are "eaten" by one of the active members. That way the resources do not just sit there because somebody stops playing. If the person returns, the active player could return the resources to the other one. Of course, the "eater" can be determined by a roll and we would need a certain period to determine when this could happen to an inactive player.

    Any thoughts?

    Maybe if there are few takers they can roll to determine their % of the resources they take if the resources to be taken are high
    Ex. A rolls 70, B rolls 60. A gets 70/130*100=54% B gets 60/130*100=46%

    Hmm possibly. Could also just give all the resources to the winning roll since some do/did not play long.

    Ok, the Ogre Cage of Doom has been rolled out by the Ironheads in Ogre Wars:). That means the Ironheads now have defense to repel attacks.

    Ok, combat will now start:).

    Currently, the Ironheads have the defense and the Stompers have the offense. The way this will work is the Stompers will get one attack roll per day. They have to get through the defense first which is 500 hp. After that the defense will be gone, but the rolls will continue. Troops will be attacked next and it will be the most inactive members getting hit first. Once their troops are all gone, their teammates will get their remaining money. That member will remain on the nation, but will have only 0s until they roll again.

    I think that gold should be taken when u defeat some1, at least some percentage of it.
    Mby for every attack some small amount of gold is lost. Also i think that mby we should add defensive roll.

    As mentioned before, we are doing this as we go along:). This is how we are doing the initial combat. It is simple and makes good use of gold and the armory.

    Defensive rolls and gold raids will come after the combat is flowing and underway. The first stages have been building up the nations. This new stage is about the first conflict and breaching each other. As it stands right now, the Stompers have the only attacking force and have to get through 500 hps of the Ironheads defense to start hitting any troops. Since nobody on the Stompers rolled today, there was no attack. You also need Defense.

    Also had a few ideas on how this one will go. Instead of a season, we may go with the last Nation standing. Furthermore, may give forum points to the winning nation or even the winner of big battles:).

    Combat has officially started as the defense of the Ironheads is now at 351/500.

    Ok, here is what we are going to do on invasions and captures when the defense has been breached. If the damage roll is above 90 and the defender has less than 200 troops, it means you have captured that player for your nation.

    Keep in mind that an attacker will drain the player's gold if the player's troops goes to 0.

    Got two more causalities on the Ironhead side today as both JBC and Ax have fallen. JBC had no troops and the rolls of the Stompers were strong enough to overcome Ax's troops.
