I do nothing, don't know even to start, can't make heroes, story...
Do it again, tutorials are to teach you how to use the program. The point isn't to copy it and end up with the same result as the guide, it's to teach you multiple points about what you can do to make a game and then apply them points to your own.
Find a good tutorial and keep repeating it until you can do the whole thing without the guide. Once you have that down move onto the next and repeat, each one will teach you more and more until you know how to do a lot of stuff making it actually possible to do your own game.
Real game developers have 1000s of hours on the tools they use, it took them time to learn. It's like League, it takes tons of matches... tons of repeated matches over and over to master it. That same effort is required to learn these tools. Practice, Practice, Practice
Yep, I understood and I starting with making today, I will try and fo my best
I will write you results
Ok, sounds good.
I gave Garagos some free advice on skype. I wish you the best of luck on developing the game concept you have into fruition.
What you need to develop your browser based game is workable knowledge of these languages at least:
HTML5, CSS3, PHP, SQL
since you want to use a search algorithm on the stats, you need to put the stats and the user id into one sql database table, else you 're gonna need a lot of joins for what you want.
since you told me that you want to use sound, learn this:
Now the way to get best support in all major browsers is to use MP3 files for the sound, don't use wav or ogg, as support is not that good. if you only have wav, then you need to convert it to mp3. there are free mp3wma converters available for just that, that can also convert wav to mp3.
now if you're just starting to learn, then begin with HTML4
HTML is easiest to start with, once you get the hang of that, move on to php and css. The css will help you to style your game and the php to make it function.
what i found to be most difficult when learning html, was frames. ignore frames when learning html, it doesn't work in version 5 and you don't need that in what you want to do anyway. So what I am saying, skip frames, when you learn html.
Thank you shugo, you really helped me a lot
I am glad I have you on skype now so I can contact you in every moment
That is great advice, Shugo.
Any news about programmers Ogre ?
No start with either unity or HTML 5. Unity can output to WebGL which works cross platform like HTML 5. If you want an application like Minecraft start with Python then java and go into the C languages.
Thank you all for support, also thank's Volnus for information
Yes that is good information
good idea men, i wish you lucky
Thank you guys
Yeah it is cool idea i would play it but it is hard to make games so ... i support you i hope you will make it
Well, hope I will start making game in september
So are you alone making game or there is ppl who will help you ?
Nah, I don't know to programming
I found programmer he already doing some things, but you know that is huge project and that will take a lot of time and patience
Doing some small things on game right now, possible that game won't be browser based game ...
