What i mean by private room is a room of any maps that go private and numbered. this idea comes from the older game (Adventure Quest Worlds) which implemented there.

    Example: /join battleon-9999
    /join skulltower-1234
    etc.

i would like to see this one to be implemented on AQ3D because of some public room sometimes have a rude behavior and other problems. this would help to player's party to do their objective quickly since they would meet faster. it useful too for some meeting like guild party, or national players meetup. i dont see any cons yet by far.

So, tell me what do you think?

I would definitely like private rooms to be a feature. It would make things easier for me like taking screenshots of the map or even monsters (since players can sometimes constantly be battling monsters), would make hosting parties and playing with friends easier, and would help better alleviate griefing (like with the implementation of party dungeons).

I think the biggest problem private rooms may have currently is botting, which is probably why AE hasn't released the private rooms feature yet. Maybe in the near future, we could have private rooms.

Another possible reason why they haven't added private rooms yet is cause the game's population is still too small. If they add private rooms now it might reduce the number of people playing in public maps and it would lose its MMO factor

    Yes, but mostly no.
    1. Small community, population needs time to grow
    2. If rude behaviour occurs > ignore and report
    3. We have private dungeons, you don't need a private world as well
    4. Safe place for botters
    5. House release will be coming soon, private settings is a must
    My thoughts might change...

I think once the game has more players (after Live), then AE can add private rooms. Otherwise, they'd probably just add more servers.

I think AE will released that when AQ3D have more players, think about it when AE added that system now the map such as battleon, yulgar's inn or any place that ussually have a lot of players there will be deserted. That will affect to the new player that feel lonely in game and fastly got bored and start switching to another game :/
thats my opinion about private room system if it added to soon

Yeah, ignore and report doesn't really do much because the player can still follow you around. Private maps would make it easier to escape from that kind of player.

Party System and private dungeons work nicely, so a similar system for regular maps would be cool too. Some maps like Magma Mines are usually full and thus hard to keep all party members in the same stance.

Im down for it, kinda dont wanna say but it gets annoying walking into town and seeing the same people afk at fountain posing and trying to show off their gear, would much prefer having my own private version of every map.

    DEFINITELY!11!!!1! xD
coz being added by random nubs for no reason makes me contemplating inside.

Yes - they started to ask for more time-consuming help

No - "uh, why so rude, no lifer? you got yourself to that level coz you dont go outside". Ad Hominem, huh? old school provoker

Yes, then delete immediately - it doesnt feels right.

Private room is also good if you hate everyone in common wkwkwk

I actually really like that idea it would be especially good for guilds whether or not aq3d ever has them implemented later on down the road.
