RO Developer Gravity Announces Arcturus Online

Gravity, a South Korean game company primarily known for Ragnarok Online, has recently announced that it will produce the MMO version of its classical PC RPG, Arcturus. As a relevant person from Gravity disclosed, Arcturus MMO is being developed



Developed by Sonnori and Gravity, Arcturus was released in South Korea in December, 2000 and gained high popularity immediately. It embodied the collective painstaking efforts of Hakkyu Kim, the creator of Ragnarok Online and CEO of IMC Games, and Wonsool Lee, Sonnori's CEO as well as a famous cartoon director. Learning from the globally influential game Ragnarok Online, the MMO version of Arcturus will make a great improvement.

Arcturus Online (temporarily named) has stepped into the planning stage up to now, but it still needs 2-3 years to be finished.

Currently, Arcturus is being made into MMO version. In addition, Astonishia Story, The War of Genesis and other classical Korean PC RPGs have also launched their MMO versions successively to compete again in the online game industry. At present, The War of Genesis IV is in development, and Astonishia Online has put an end to its third CBT and is set to kick off OBT in 2011.
