RTD: A Simple RPG!

Roll to Dodge (RTD) is a simple RPG system. No, really simple. Every turn, you state an action...any action. And then I roll a dice. What my dice says, is how good you did:

Code:

1 = EPIC FAIL! (Don't expect to live...)
2 = Fail
3 = Slightly fail
4 = Success
5 = Did awesome!
6 = OVERKILL! (Oops, you meant to open the door? But it opened so fast it blew up and you got splinters now? :laugh4:)

Soooo, if you want to play, here is the story:

You are strapped to a chair. In a room. How sad.
(I told you it was simple.)

Now what do you do?

 

I do... Please do one action at a time. Taking off ropes and Throwing chair is two. You can do them both this time though.

You got a 3. You run backwards at the door with the chair, breaking both your chair, and the door. The ropes stay on though. Some people outside start talking.

 

(Whoa, a six.)
ec2, you have a sonic scream, which causes you to go temporarily deaf.

2 men run inside from outside, and start to attack you.
(2 more people and then the next turn can start.)

 

6...again.

You look at the room, and through the walls. In the room, you see 2 men wearing cloaks, and carrying a tazer gun. They look aggressive. There is a bed in the corner, and a bookcase laying on it's side. Through the floor, and through the earth, you see the Grand Canal in China. Up, you see the moon, and every crater on it.

 

1 - You fumble on the ground trying to find a tazer gun, when a piece of ceiling falls on your cranium. You roll to dodge!

(for the next part, you got a 1 2 times in a row. But since this is the first time, I rerolled until you didn't get a 1)
5 - You expertly roll over, dodging the ceiling.

 

Status at end of turn:

You are in a room. With a bookcase, and a chair to strap any new players to. There are two aggressive men in the room. One of them throws a flash grenade.

Megaddd - 2 - You get flashed! You get -1 to your next roll.

ec2 - 5 - You close your eyes, doing a summersault to get out of the way.

mmowiz - 6 - You get out your own flash grenade, throwing it out at the men, right before you close your eyes.

psufootball - 2 - You get flahsed! -1 to your next roll.

The men get flashed by mmowiz!

Man1 - 4 - He closes his eyes, dodging it.
Man2 - 1 - He gets directly hit by the flash grenade, getting a permanent -2 to all rolls, at least until the effects wear off.

The next turn begins!

 

This round I'm waiting until everyone picks something to do, as you are supposed to do

 

Sure. Just state an action. You start strapped to a chair in the room. You can join for the next couple rounds. Other people, come back, I'm home now!

 

5. You bite the straps though and swallow them whole. Delicous!
