Comment: I have been playing runescape for a long time. I am not a "veteran" according to the game but I can tell you this...The game has definitely changed since Gerhard took over.

At the moment, JaGeX does not listen to the players overall. We suggest and suggest and they shoot down pretty much everything.

Here is a list of Pros and Cons atm:

Pros:
-Bugs are still patched quite fast
-Weekly updates
-some Q&A sessions
-updates to good old content
-well thought out quests for people to get items from


Cons:
-Minor bugs are not patched fast
-almost none of the good suggestions in the official runescape forums are ever put into the game
-some of the weekly updates are not counted as updates to most people.
-lag. It is all server lag not your internet usually.
-bots. both player and gold farming bots
-crashes both client and browser
-no real combat against the bots
-Jagex is full of themselves in all honesty
-refer a friend


Trying to make the pros and cons even is not easy at all. There are many more Cons compared to Pros because JaGeX simply doesn't care anymore.

I still play the game, but I completely avoid all bot locations :/ sad isnt it.
