Sky block?

I like this mode a lot

 

I've seen it through PopularMMOs's channel, looks cool! Never tried it though.

 

I like this mod, it's pretty good

 

i dont like this gamemode i dont understand it

 

Take a break of normal survival Minecraft and play some SkyBlock

 

Sky block is really cool! Parkour still better XD

 

I play it all day and its so good mode on server.

If someone dont know what is Skyblock;Thats survival on litlle island in the air.when you start you will get some wood and some items. than you need to make farm and lot of other things.

 

I use to play Skyblock all the time dude. I was a pro at it! I expanded my island so large it reached to another island XD

 

I have played a Sky Block map on Minecraft before. It's quite fun because you have to work with limited resources and create more resources, like generating more wood and cobblestone, but also not lose valuable items like a bucket of lava. I would say the challenging part of Sky Block is getting resources from monsters. Other than that, I would say building an area below the base is difficult, because there's a risk of falling out of the map when scaffolding from a waterfall.

 

Sky block is like a normal survival mode, playing with friends is really fun. But doing solo would be also good, challenging and independent.

 

I could set up one for myself on PS3 too so i will just make myself a little floating island with some resources and just use everything i can only from that island and nowhere else. I could also just make it using Creative mode too, if i wanted to. It's a good game mode by the way, if you ask me!

 

Yeah i do it was 4 years ago, My island was the largest in bosscraft server before they change the ways on how to buy blocks and restarted all islands back to 0

 

But if you're playing it on Creative mode, it sort of defeats the purpose of the gameplay since you can give yourself any items or blocks you want. On Survival mode, you have to be very resourceful by generating more resources such as wood and cobblestone which takes time. You also have to be cautious about not dropping your items off the world. It's quite tricky, when you make water flow below the island and try to build things underneath your island, because you could lose your bucket if you fell off the world. It's quite a challenge in some ways on Survival mode.

It's fun to play various spin-offs of Sky Block, like say there are multiple islands with their own resources in the main overworld and your goal is to reach the Nether then the End which are also Sky Blocks on their own. Imagine defeating the Ender Dragon in a Sky Block End dimension.
