Smallworlds is a browser-based social MMO.

It has many features, including:

Chat

Mail

Multiplayer Games

Missions

Extensive Interactions with Objects

and much more

When you play the game, you can go to different player-created rooms, which contain objects. Players may create missions, which are a series of tasks that another user has to do to earn a small prize, depending on how long it takes. Many objects contain widgets, which can be used to play games with other players. One such example is the pool widget:

Most of these widgets allow setting a gamble that you will win the game, although it is not required.

When editing a room, there is an extensive interactions system that can be used to further immerse the players. You can teleport a player when they press a button, ban them when they curse, or make a door open only after an avatar collects three keys. This extensive system is the basis of most missions, requiring players to have certain items before moving on.

Another nice feature is the arena games, by purchasing weapons from the Sovereign Plaza, users can participate in the Arena Games. There are a variety of games, including Capture the Flag, and a neat CTF variation called Tombstone. In Tombstone players must rush to grab the skulls on the map, and bring them back to the base without being hit. One trick though, putting on a skull slows you way down, so it'll take teamwork to win!

Smallworlds is great for a player that wants a fun MMO experience to enjoy with other players.
