What do you do on your vaccant class?

I'd probably study or go sleep if I feel tired.

 

For me, attendance is mandatory, but I've had teachers who often released students early (usually after quick lectures). If there's no class for the day or if the class is dismissed early, I usually stay/go home unless I have another class that I have to wait for. If I have another class, then I usually play some game, read news on my iPhone, or study for an exam if I have an exam to study for.

i used to go home and sleep an hour of vacant period = around 40 mins of sleep. i was so sleep hungry when im studying. sometimes i stay at the cafeteria with my friends.

 

If between classes, Id go to the hangout of my organizations. Else, Id go straight home.

 

I usually went to the cafeteria and sat with my friends!! Or i went home if it was for hours!!

Advanced Reading coz after discussion we always have a quiz that was back in college.

 

I either go home, play on my phone, or go to eat food with my buddies.

 

Talk with friends or grab some snacks.

 

All of my classes in Carnegie Mellon are recorded so I can skip my classes and replay them in 1.5x speed.

 

Smart, but some colleges make it mandatory for students to attend class to receive a full grade, so it doesn't apply to every academia. With online classes, it's no issue since you can do online classwork at anytime of the day, and you don't have to sit through an entire lecture. While I like online classes for that reason, I tend to dislike it because I don't get to know anybody.

 

Yeah there are some classes that requires attendance, but so far all of the classes that I've taken has the lectures recorded. Moreover some of these classes do have discussions and labs, which obviously requires attendance. Also skipping classes doesn't really affect my social life since I usually participate in student organization events.

 

I haven't really had that many vacant classes. When i did have one, i had to wait an hour or 45 minutes before another class started. I always just waited while reading a magazine or just surfed around the Internet with my phone. Going home wasn't really an option for me because for me it takes about 30 minutes to go home so i just stayed in school.

 

45 minutes to an hour isn't so bad. Sometimes I get classes with long breaks in between like 3 hours, so I usually work on homework within that time and/or get a snack to eat.

 

i got into a job after graduating from high school and advancing so for me if it's during my break it's cooking my own food at work and eating for free

 

That's great. I know it probably wouldn't be easy for most people to get a job as they graduate from high school, even taking college courses and working at a job since setting up college courses at the schedule you want can be tricky.
