What do you think about delays in AQ3D?

    Many players play just for 3 or so weeks, until the point that there is nothing left to do in the game. They usually take 2 months to make a sizable release, so many players leave the game before seeing an update. I think that is the main problem right now, they cant make quality content at a fast pace so many people get bored and quit.

    Its better if they answer us with "when its ready oclock" rather than giving out a specific date then end up delaying it

    Definitely. I'd much prefer a delayed release than a rushed release, but I would also prefer that the AQ3D team doesn't announce improbable dates of release.

    Of course, but I find delays, especially consistent ones, very off-putting to the players who wait for a release anticipating that it'll come. I feel like more consistent delays will make players want to quit, but at the same time I feel like it encourages players to log on at a specific date when there really isn't going to be a release.

    This is a pretty straight forward answer and it works outside of video game development too! Do you know when our dinner is ready? When it's ready o'clock! Honestly AE should give us date estimations rather than deadlines, if you ask me.

    The Kickstarter page just says it would be delivered by July 2016. I'm not sure if AE intended for that to be the release date, but that's long overdue.

    I believe they're planning on Alpha Pirate after they release Dragonslayer class. That's going to be one of their priorities.

    They can set deadlines, but they don't need to tell us their deadlines. It gives false hopes to people waiting for release day, especially those who decide to postpone something important to another date just to play a release. I'd much prefer the AQ3D team tell players when a release will be ready after everything's set.

    Please understand that for updates or events to be easily done the platform to put those events in should be built, and i believe its not yet (well cause if it is well ger our updates). Otherwise, each updates takes a long time to code and design sive theyre basically makin them frm scratch. And its not as if they have the manpower to do it quickly. Be grateful, play ur game.

    Not that many people are fond of delays and it's not surprising at all, but on the other hand you have time to catch up before more content gets added.

    If I get out of the way of the red circle in time I still get hit, but that's only when I get out of radius just in time and I take damage. If I get out quick its fine

    There's delay to your movements, AQ3D doesn't have precise entity tracking in combat so that attends to happen.
